“The View” co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin sounded the alarm on the possible consequence the anti-Israel protests could have on Democrats in the upcoming 2024 election.

Hundreds of anti-Israel protesters have been arrested for the violent clashes and trespassing on college campuses across the U.S. The students and outside protesters have continued to build encampments to “occupy” the campuses in support of Palestine, while simultaneously harassing and blocking Jewish students from entering the campus buildings.

Griffin compared these protests to the anti-Vietnam war occupations on college campuses in 1968, the year former President Richard Nixon won the presidential election.

“There will very likely be protests, and 1968—which everyone wants to compare it to—Nixon won,” Griffin said. “So if you’re trying to elect Donald Trump, you’ve got to address this.”

“Yeah, but we knew he was gonna win,” co-host Whoopi Goldberg interjected. “There was never any person who was gonna win that election that year.” (RELATED: ‘Get Out Of My Face!’: College Protester Walks Away From Fox Host Pressing Her On ‘Hostage’ Situation)

President Joe Biden holds a dismal approval rating of 28% and a 78% disapproval rate, according to a CNN poll conducted by SSRS. Trump’s approval trounces Biden in the poll 49% to 43%, and 55% of the surveyed participants viewed Trump’s presidency as a success. More than half of participants, 61%, view Biden’s presidency as a failure, while 39% said it is a success.

The poll surveyed 1,212 adults between April 18-23 with a 3.4 margin of error.

A mob of over 200 people at Columbia University smashed into Hamilton Hall’s door window with a hammer and barricaded the building, and hung a banner renaming the building “Hind’s Hall” after a 6-year-old who died in Gaza. Three janitors told the Columbia Daily Spectator, the university’s student newspaper, that the protesters allegedly held them “hostage” inside the building.

The university has threatened to expel the students who barricaded the building and is set to suspend anyone if they do not commit to the terms offered by the university. Seniors refusing to comply with the terms will be ineligible to graduate.
