The 23-year-old singer is topless on the cover of GQ’s May issue, proving that she’s come a long way from the Disney star she once was.

“This is something that everyone always wants to fixate on,” Gomez said. “I got diagnosed with lupus. My mom had a very public miscarriage. So I had to cancel my tour. I needed time to just be okay.”
