Lena Dunham Dedicated This Video To The Stanford Rape Victim

Lena Dunham dedicated a video she made about sexual assault to the victim in the Stanford rape case on Wednesday.

During a PSA about sexual assault, Dunham and the three other actresses who star with her on “Girls” cite¬†statistics about sexual abuse.

“I dedicate this to the brave survivor in the Stanford case who has given so much to change the conversation,” Dunham tweeted along with the video. (RELATED:¬†Lena Dunham: Women Apologize Too Much)

The case made news this week when Brock Turner, the 20-year-old Stanford University swimmer convicted of three felonies, was sentenced to only six months in a county jail, though he was facing up to 14 years in a state federal prison.
