Chris Brown Hit With Another Lawsuit
Chris Brown may be in trouble with the law once again. Brown’s ex-manager, Mike G, is suing the artist for allegedly assaulting him in what was described as a drug-fueled rage.
Mike G, born Michael M. Guirguis, claims that Brown locked him in a room and struck him several times in the face and neck. He’s taking the star to court as a result.
“The assault was unprovoked and, regrettably, just another attack in Brown’s long history of violence and abusive behavior,” the suit reads.
Mike G’s lawyers assert that Brown’s connection to alleged gang members is a hazard and that he “…does not feel safe working with Brown any longer.”
This isn’t the first time Brown has reportedly been involved in a physical attack. In 2009, Brown infamously pleaded guilty to hitting then girlfriend, Rihanna. Shocking images of Rihanna’s bruised and beaten face surfaced shortly after.
Brown hired Mike G in 2012 to be his manager and help him restore his public image. According to him, he also helped Brown get out of debt and treat his substance abuse issues.
The alleged assault occurred on May 10 and left Mike G hospitalized.
“We did everything we could to resolve this in a non-public way to avoid damage to Chris Brown,” Patty Glasser, Mike G’s attorney, said. “Regrettably, as outlined in our complaint, Chris Brown has proven to be his own worst enemy.”
