“Bridget Jones’s Baby” did fare better overseas, the Hollywood Reporter noted Monday. It saw record-breaking numbers in the United Kingdom where it made over $29.9 million.

The film was easily overpowered by “Sully,” the Clint Eastwood directed movie about the emergency plane landing on the Hudson River, which topped the box office for the second weekend in a row with a whopping $22 million in sales.
“Sully” now has a domestic total of $70.5 million.
