Lady Gaga posed topless for the promotion of her latest album that leans heavily with a country music tone.

The 30-year-old singer shared a photo on her Instagram account with her nineteen million followers, wearing nothing but a cowboy hat with a feather in it. In the photo she has her hand over her chest showing almost all of her sideboob and her blonde hair falling over her chest and shoulders. (RELATED: Lady Gaga Goes Country In Latest Single [VIDEO])

Cuz that’s my middle name, and my daddy named me after his sister. So I named this album #JOANNE.”

In an interview with London Times magazine the singer explained her goal was to strip away the extreme and get back to the music with this album.

“To be frank, I would just prefer to go through this album cycle and talk about my music. That’d be great,” Gaga said. “It becomes about everything else, and that was what I [once] wanted. But if I wear a black T-shirt and black pants every day, [people] might listen to what I write.”

“All the outfits, fashion and art pieces over the years made sense to me,” she added. “They didn’t make sense to other people. But I always got it. It was an expression, not a hiding.”

“This time, my style just stayed naturally at how I’ve been in the studio,” she continued. “I started vehemently saying, ‘Get these clothes out! I’m not wearing this! I’m not wearing heels!'”
