Charlie Sheen has expressed interest in throwing out the first pitch of the World Series when the Cleveland Indians open the series.

Sheen famously played pitcher Ricky “Wild Thing” Vaughn for the Cleveland Indians in the highly successful movie “Major League.” Fans of the Indians and Sheen began a movement to get him to throw out the first pitch as Vaughn.

The world-famous actor responded on Twitter saying he would be ready if called upon.

The internet and sports world will explode if Sheen runs out of the tunnel on Tuesday night when the Indians play the winner of the Cubs and Dodgers series. (SLIDESHOW: These Barely Clothed Women Love Baseball)

This will absolutely happen if Major League Baseball knows what’s good for its brand.
