Taylor Swift Wants Judge To Seal Pics Of Her Allegedly Being Groped
Taylor Swift wants a judge to prevent the public release of photos of radio DJ David Mueller allegedly groping her for fear they will be “be shared for scandalous and prurient interests.”
The legal documents were obtained by TMZ as part of her lawsuit against Mueller. (RELATED: Taylor Swift Fans Are Losing Their Minds Over Her Latest Post)
The request argues that if the pictures were released it could influence a jury pool: “the interest in a fair and impartial trial outweigh any public interest in access to the documents identified above,” according to the TMZ documents. Mueller sued Swift in 2015, claiming he was fired after she said he groped her backstage at one of her 2013 concerts. Mueller denied that he groped her. Swift counter-sued, claiming he lifted her skirt and grabbed her bottom while they were taking a photo, saying the whole incident left her, “surprised, upset, offended, and alarmed.”
Meanwhile, the singer has been getting ready for her first performance in almost a year. Saturday night Swift is scheduled take the stage in Austin, Texas, at the Formula 1 Grand Prix. The singer teased fans this week with a series of posts on her Instagram account.
In one of them she is singing her hit song “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” She captioned the photo, “Band practice @cota_official @f1 #USGP.”
