Adele Endorses Hillary Clinton At Miami Concert With Democratic Nominee In Attendance
Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton took a break from campaigning in Miami Tuesday night to attend an Adele concert. In the middle of her concert, the British singer paused to endorse Clinton — although she will not even vote in the election.
Fans booed the British singer when she brought up the election during a break between songs asking them how they feel about the election. “I’ve got to be honest with you, I’m really glad I’m not American,” Adele said, “I wouldn’t know what to do.”
“I mean I do know what to do,” Adele continued, “Don’t vote for him. That’s what I’m saying.”
“I can’t vote but I am 100 percent for Hillary Clinton, I love her, she’s amazing,” the Grammy Award-winner added, according to CNN.
It’s unlikely Clinton had to pay to attend the British singer’s concert, but tickets close to the stage for Wednesday night’s concert are ranging from about $500-700, according to VividSeats.com.Tickets in the back of the building aren’t going for much less, at or around $300.
Many have praised Clinton for taking time to enjoy an Adele concert while others are criticizing Donald Trump for attending his hotel openings over the course of the campaign. Trump’s campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, brought attention to this Wednesday morning on NBC’s “Today.”
“Respectfully, Hillary Clinton has time to go to an Adele concert and everybody thinks that’s really cool,” Conway said. “Donald Trump stops off to unveil an incredible, stunning piece of architecture and new hotel, first-class hotel and everybody’s hair is on fire.”
