Goalie Blocks Shot With His Face, Promptly Loses His Front Teeth [VIDEO]

Tampa Bay Lightning goalie Ben Bishop learned the hard way that taking a shot to the face isn’t fun Tuesday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Leafs center Peter Holland fired a wicked wrist shot that struck Bishop in his mask. The Lightning goalie dropped to the ice in obvious pain, and revealed he was missing his front teeth once he removed his mask. (SLIDESHOW: These Photos Are Proof That Carrie Underwood Is The Most Stunning NHL WAG)

Hard to tell how that puck somehow slipped his bask guard to hit him in the mouth, but there’s no doubt he was in incredible pain.

The most impressive part of his entire ordeal is that he didn’t miss a single shift at goalie. The man loses his front teeth and shakes it off like nothing happened. Good luck finding that level of toughness in other sports leagues.
