Suspect Arrested For Destroying Trump’s Hollywood Walk Of Fame Star
Los Angeles police have arrested a suspect for the vandalism of Donald Trump’s Hollywood Walk Of Fame star.
Trump’s star was vandalized and destroyed by a man dressed as a construction worker using a pickaxe early Wednesday morning.
A man named James Otis claimed responsibility for the crime in a video obtained by TMZ Wednesday. A new video, posted by ABC 7 Los Angeles on Thursday, shows Otis, out of breath after hacking away at the concrete star.

In the video, Otis admitted to the crime and explained that he did it to bring attention to sexual assault in America.
Otis also stated that he had a lawyer and planned on eventually turning himself in to the authorities. (RELATED: Man Who Destroyed Trump’s Hollywood Star Releases Video Confession)
The LAPD hasn’t released the identity of the suspect in custody, but said the suspect was “arrested without incident and was being booked at the Men’s Central Jail in downtown,” ABC 7 reports.
Commanding Officer Cory Palka released the news of the arrest on Twitter Thursday morning.
