Susan Sarandon has decided to throw her support behind Green Party candidate Jill Stein after saying she couldn’t vote for Hillary Clinton just out of “fear of Donald Trump.”

In a letter posted on Stein’s website on Tuesday, the actress listed all the reasons she could not vote for the Democratic presidential nominee that included her failure to “support a $15 minimum wage hike” and “the legalization of marijuana.” (RELATED: Susan Sarandon: Clinton Is More Dangerous Than Trump [VIDEO])

“Dear Jill and team, I’ve been waiting for any indication that Hillary Clinton’s position on the issues that are most urgent to me, has changed,” Sarandon wrote. “But she does not support the $15 minimum wage. She shows no support for legalizing marijuana. She supports TPP.” (RELATED: Susan Sarandon: Hillary Will Cause World War 3)

“She has sold fracking and Monsanto,” ” she added. “She supports offshore drilling. She has no position on the Dakota Access Pipeline. She opposes the labeling of GMOs. She opposes the breakup of big banks. She takes lobbyists’ money for campaigning. She opposes a binding climate treaty. She supports unconditional military aid to Israel.

“I’m therefore very happy to endorse Jill Stein for the presidency because she does stand for everything I believe in,” she continued. “It’s clear a third-party is necessary and viable at this time. And this is the first step in accomplishing this end.”

“Fear of Donald Trump is not enough for me to support Clinton, with her record of corruption. Now that Trump is self-destructing, I feel even those in swing states have the opportunity to vote their conscience.”

Sarandon was a full-blown Bernie Sanders supporter during the Democratic primary, and even after he dropped out she has struggled with Clinton. In one interview the actress said that Clinton would be “more dangerous” than Trump.

“I believe in a way she is more dangerous, except they are both talking to Henry Kissinger apparently,” Sarandon said. “She did not learn from Iraq, and she is an interventionist, and she has done horrible things, and very callously, I don’t know if she is overcompensating or what her trip is. I think we’ll be in Iran in two seconds.”
