Celebrities React With Joy And Excitement After Cubs Win The World Series

Celebrities reacted with joy and excitement after the Chicago Cubs beat the Cleveland Indians 8-7 to win the World Series.

On Wednesday night, baseball fans and stars of Hollywood blew up Twitter with their reaction to Game 7, which lasted until nearly 1 a.m. on the East Coast. The win ended the Cubs’ championship drought of 108 years. (RELATED: Chicago Cubs Win The World Series)

“OMG CUBS RULE WE’RE JUMPING UP & DOWN ON MY BED,” Cher tweeted.

 

“I would watch 10 more hours of grown men weeping. So much . CONGRATS CHICAGO,” Wilde tweeted.

But by far the biggest fan had to be Bill Murray, who was at the game. His reaction to the moment his team won was captured here.

Murray even did an interview with the Cubs GM Theo Epstein from the locker room where champagne was flowing.

First lady Michelle Obama got in on the celebration too.

“Go @Cubs, go! Been rooting for you since I was a kid, and so incredibly proud tonight. #FlytheW -mo”
