Lead singer of the Dixie Chicks, Natalie Maines, just threw major shade at country music and it’s award show after her band performed with Beyonce.

On Thursday, the 42-year-old singer tweeted that she not only just “used” the Country Music Awards show so she could perform with Beyonce, she would be unavailable for next year’s show so don’t bother asking her to come back. (RELATED: Dixie Chicks Singer Calls Country Radio ‘Hypocrites’ For Trump Support)

“@mhjellm629 We were in Bey’s world not the CMA world;),” Maines tweeted.

“Hey everybody,”she added. “The CMA’s just called and asked us to co-host next year’s show with Beyoncé. Unfortunately I’ve got a thing that night so, no.”

“@marykatestar It’s ok. I used them to fulfill my dream of singing with Bey.
(On their dime;)

Maines series of tweets slamming the CMAs comes following reports that social media posts featuring the group and Beyonce’s performance were removed following racists comments. However, the Country Music Association has responded to those reports denying any such thing.

“CMA has not erased any mentions of Beyoncé’s performance on the CMA Awards,” a statement to CNN read. “In advance of the broadcast, CMA removed a five-second promotional clip from ABC.com and CMA’s Facebook page. Beyoncé’s performance with Dixie Chicks was a highlight of the evening and we are continuing to share the amazing full-length performance clip via our official social channels.”

Another report claims that Beyonce had her own videographer and only approved one video of her perfomance to be shared and posted.

In August, Maines called country music stations “hypocrites” for their support of Donald Trump, while complaining about the backlash her and her band received for not supporting President George W. Bush in 2003.
