The hit NBC show “Parks and Recreation” accurately predicted the Chicago Cubs would win the 2016 World Series.

The show starring Amy Pohler and Nick Offerman had a scene in the final season that was a flash forward to the summer of 2017 where characters are discussing the Cubs having won the World Series. (SLIDESHOW: These Barely Clothed Women Love Baseball)

The Cubs broke a 108 year streak of not winning a World Series when they defeated the Cleveland Indians in game seven. Clearly the writers behind “Parks and Recreation” where well ahead of the curve.
