Celebrities Are Voting Across The Country [PHOTOS]
Celebrities across the country headed to the polls Tuesday to make a choice between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.
The social media site Instagram was flooded with pictures of stars from Hollywood sharing photos that they had voted in the election. “We Got This!!!!!! H.R.C,” Madonna wrote and shared a photo from her polling place.
“I voted,” Modern Family star Ariel Winter wrote along with a video she shared on her account with a close-up shot on her chest and telling her 2.6 million followers, “That’s right I voted.”
“I voted today for @hillaryclinton,” Miley Cyrus wrote. “I am so proud of all of you who did the same! #imwithher.”
“Baby girl’s first election,” Olivia Wilde wrote alongside a picture of her, her husband and their infant daughter. “It’s a cool time to be alive. #tearsofjoy.”
“JUST VOTED! And YOU should too! Every vote counts,” Lady Gaga told her 19.5 million followers.
Even Taylor Swift was willing to wait in long lines and shared a picture about it showing her pointing at a sign that read, “Voters Entrance.”
“Today is the Day. Go out and Vote,” Swift wrote.
“I voted,” Kate Hudson wrote while sharing a selfie holding an “I voted” sticker.
“No day but today,” Amy Schumer wrote on her social media account while sharing a photo of her and Clinton. “Heading to the polls with my best friend @rachelfeinstein_ we have loved her since we were young girls.”
“It’s an honor to get to vote for this fighter, mother , changemaker and leader,” she added. “So excited. And so proud of everyone who doesn’t usually vote who is getting out there and letting their voice be heard.”
“Got it done y’all! #VoteYall #ElectionDay,” Reese Witherspoon tweeted along with a picture wearing a red sweater and the sticker that showed she voted.
