“The electoral college must GO,” Evans tweeted to his 4.5 million followers Monday. (RELATED: Chris Pratt, The Rock, And Other Celebrities Take #22Pushup Challenge To Honor Veterans)

On Sunday the actor reacted to the news that Trump’s chief strategist during the campaign, Steve Bannon, was selected for a top job in the Trump administration.

“We’re watching unabashed bigotry creep into the White House right before our eyes,” Evans tweeted. “This isn’t about left vs right. It’s about right vs wrong…”

Evans had come out as a supporter of Hillary Clinton during the general election. When it became clear Clinton had lost the election early Wednesday morning, the actor tweeted his that he was “devastated” about president-elect Trump.

“This is an embarrassing night for America,” Evans tweeted. “We’ve let a hatemonger lead our great nation. We’ve let a bully set our course. I’m devastated.”

Since the election many in Hollywood have come out calling for an end to the way we choose a president. The cries from people like Lady Gaga, Amy Schumer and Pink would put an end to giving smaller states equal representation against bigger states and would mean choosing a president based on nothing but the popular vote.
