Colin Cowherd: You Can’t Game Plan For Russell Wilson
Fox Sports pundit Colin Cowherd is clearly a huge fan of Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.
“If Russell Wilson had simply been two inches taller he could have been the number one, two or three pick. But there’s never been a prototype for a 5’11.5″ who plays like that, and in the NFL everybody is looking for a prototype. But, you know what? There was no Oprah before Oprah. There was no Howard Stern before Howard Stern. And that Russell Wilson, I was sitting there watching last night and you can’t game plan for that,” Cowherd said on his FS1 show “The Herd” Monday afternoon. Wilson is having another incredible year, despite the fact that he’s played almost the entire season hurt. (SLIDESHOW: 12 Times Russell Wilson’s Wife Ciara Was Absolutely Stunning)
He has thrown for 10 touchdowns and more than 2,400 yards while only throwing two interceptions. His numbers on the ground have taken a hit thanks to his injuries to the lower body, but the dynamic play-caller has the Seahawks sitting at a very respectable 6-2-1.
