The 39-year-old rapper set off a chorus of boos in the audience at his concert in California Thursday night when he revealed his support for the president-elect.

“I said something that was kind of politically correct,” West told the crowd. “I told y’all I didn’t vote, right? What I didn’t tell you…If I were to have voted, I would have voted on Trump.” (RELATED: Kanye West: ‘I’m Running For President In 2020’)

“Echoing is what made people think Hillary was going to win. You thought because what the Internet was telling you, that she was going to win.”

West also confirmed that he will run for president in 2020.

“I’m a human being too, I have feelings,” he said. “I like the [political] debates. I’m a guy and a rapper, I’m a non-political rebel, the debates were entertaining.”

In March — before Trump had even won the Republican nomination — West was overheard saying he liked the front-runner during a plane ride. (Report: Kanye West Supports Donald Trump For President)
