Palvin became a Victoria’s Secret model at age 19 and was voted 2016 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue’s Rookie of the Year for her first appearance in the magazines highly-anticipated annual edition. She’s also worked with some of the world’s top brands and it’s not hard to see why.

Having Barbara’s level of fame comes with a lot of attention and rumors swirl around every little thing she does, especially when it comes to the men she hangs with.

“Normally I don’t let it get to me,” she told Maxim. “I actually hang out with a lot of guys, and whenever I hang out with a famous guy, I’m instantly dating them. So I just laugh it off.”

She noted her most recent rumored love interest happened to simply be her agent and friend. “It was: ‘Of course she’s hitting on that guy. He’s probably old and rich.’ Oh bravo, Daily Mail!”

When Barbara is not jet-setting around the world, she returns home to Hungary where she keeps things much simpler. “I have a garden. We have fresh tomatoes and strawberries. People are different here,” Palvin said of her European home. “People out in California, they grow up quicker. They have a lot of excess, and they have a lot more things than we do here in Hungary.”
