Ryan Lochte Says He Doesn’t Believe Michael Phelps Is Retiring [VIDEO]
American swimmer Ryan Lochte doesn’t think teammate Michael Phelps is really retiring.
“I don’t think so. I don’t believe it. I don’t believe it,” the Olympic hero told TMZ Sports late Monday night when he was informed Phelps had signed his retirement paperwork. (SLIDESHOW: This Nearly Naked Model Is All The Motivation You Need For The Olympics)

Phelps is retiring after becoming the most decorated Olympian in American history. Lochte, who has his own retirement rumors, and his swimming teammates were at the center of the a media firestorm during the 2016 Olympics in Rio, Brazil after they were robbed at gunpoint. At this time it’s not likely either Phelps or Lochte will return for the 2020 Olympics.
