Tim Allen Just Nailed Hollywood’s Hypocritical Trump Criticism
Tim Allen just nailed Hollywood’s hypocrisy over criticizing president-elect Donald Trump as a bully while bullying people who praise him.
“What I find odd in Hollywood is that they didn’t like Trump because he was a bully, but if you had any kind of inkling that you were for Trump, you got bullied for doing that,” the 63-year-old actor said Monday night during an interview on Fox News’s “The Kelly File.” (RELATED: Tim Allen: ‘We’re Going To Drill Hillary Clinton’ If She Continues To Lead Democrat)
“And … it gets a little bit hypocritical to me,” he added. “Mostly what I’m finding [as a comedian] is there’s no source material…like he was against homosexuals somehow and I said where did you..whoever said that. Didn’t he wave the flag at the convention? I feel like we are playing that game telephone.” (RELATED: Tim Allen: ‘The Clintons Are Like Herpes’)
“I’m really an anarchist,” he continued. “As a comedian I don’t want anyone to tell me what to do. Period.”
“You get bullied into a position, but I don’t want to defend the guy,” Allen explained. “He’s said stupid stuff. To me, he acts like a new talent comedian. These are guys that have great material that have very bad comedy timing. And he’s got terrible timing.”
Earlier this year the actor shared his opinion about the presidential candidates when he compared Hillary Clinton and her husband to a sexually transmitted disease.
“The Clintons are like herpes: Just when you think they’re gone, they show up again.”
