Michigan Football Legend Is Not Happy They Have Essentially No Shot At The Playoffs
Legendary Michigan football player and current ESPN pundit Desmond Howard is not pleased nobody is giving his old team a shot at the playoffs.
The Heisman winner for the Wolverines specifically called out the statistics website FiveThirtyEight for giving Michigan a one percent chance of getting in. (SLIDESHOW: This Supermodel Might Be The Sexiest NFL Girlfriend)
“The website FiveThirtyEight, they said right now Michigan has a one percent chance of making the college football playoff, and we know they got the election real wrong,” he said during a Friday appearance on ESPN. (SLIDESHOW: Celebrate College Basketball With These Sexy Cheerleaders)
There’s just one major problem with Howard’s analysis. FiveThirtyEight was arguably the most accurate website when it came to the election and gave Donald Trump a much better chance of winning than just about anybody else. Michigan does need absolute chaos to break out, and that still might not get it done. They need every team ahead of them to lose. If that happens, there’s still a chance they will get jumped by both the Big Ten champion and the Pac-12 champion. They’re in a rough spot. According to the FiveThirtyEight interactive model, the only team that is currently a lock is Ohio State.
