The “Family Guy creator” — who blamed Hillary Clinton’s loss on the left crying wolf too much  — said celebrities see a lot of themselves in the president-elect. (RELATED: Donald Trump Suggest He Might Sue NBC For Leaked Billy Bush Tape)

“Wanna know why Hollywood folks hate Trump?” he wrote on Twitter Friday. “We live and work amongst his kind every day out here. His tactics are those employed by the shiftiest of agents, lawyers and publicists.”

“We’ve learned to recognize the blustery showmanship of a lying conman because we encounter it every day in our business,” he continued. “Most of us love America a hell of a lot, and we don’t want America to be conned the way many of us have ourselves. Trump is not of the people. Trump is of Hollywood. And that’s the problem.”

When one of his followers replied that it was because most of Hollywood lives in a bubble, MacFarlane said that was “a big generalization.”

“Pretty big generalization there,” he said. “My parents were teachers. I made my own money at every step. Trump’s daddy handed him his. Big difference.” (RELATED: Pat Boone: Donald Trump’s Win A ‘Slap In The Face’ To ‘Pompous, Brainwashed Hollywood’)
