UFC Star Conor McGregor Expected To Appear In ‘Game Of Thrones’

UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor is reportedly being sought after to appear in one of the last remaining to seasons of the hit HBO series “Game of Thrones.”

A source, speaking to a Belfast-based news outlet called “Sunday Life” said “it’s been agreed that McGregor will appear in one of the remaining two season,” Metro reports. (SLIDESHOW: 13 Sexy Shots Of UFC Octagon Girl Brittney Palmer)

“He was headhunted as it were by HBO, as one of the Game Of Thrones directors is a huge UFC fan,” the source said. “They beleived that he would be a perfect fit for the show.” (PHOTOS: UFC Octagon Girls Bring The Heat At ‘Ultimate Fighter’ Finale)

Much of the filming for the hit series occurs in McGregor’s homeland of Ireland, so it’s not hard for fans to believe the fighter will drop in for a quick cameo. After all McGregor has joined up with a Game Of Thrones star before. The professional fighter has previously been filmed sparring with Hafpor Julius Bjornesson, who plays “The Mountain” in the HBO show.
