The Oscar-winning actor and the CEO of the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation met with the president-elect, Ivanka Trump and other members of Trump’s team at Trump Tower for about 90 minutes to discuss how green jobs could promote the economy.

“Today, we presented the President-elect and his advisers with a framework — which LDF developed in consultation with leading voices in the fields of economics and environmentalism — that details how to unleash a major economic revival across the United States that is centered on investments in sustainable infrastructure,” Terry Tamminen, the head of DiCaprio’s foundation, said in a statement to the Associated Press.

“Our conversation focused on how to create millions of secure, American jobs in the construction and operation of commercial and residential clean, renewable energy generation.” (RELATED: Leonardo Dicaprio Backs Out Of Clinton Fundraiser For Climate Change Documentary)

DiCaprio was a staunch supporter of Hillary Clinton throughout the presidential election.

While moderating a panel with Barack Obama at the White House in October, he made a pointed dig at Trump.

“The scientific consensus is in, and the argument is now over,” DiCaprio said during his opening remarks.

“If you do not believe in climate change, you do not believe in facts, or science, or empirical truths; and therefore, in my humble opinion, should not be allowed to hold public office.” (RELATED: Leonardo DiCaprio: ‘People Who Don’t Believe In Climate Change Shouldn’t Be Able To Hold Office’)
