Selena Gomez Just Got A Huge Paycheck Thanks To This Endorsement Deal
Selena Gomez has been taking some time away from her career to focus on her health, but she’s still pulling in the big bucks. The stunning singer just signed a $10 million deal with Coach to become the new face of the luxury fashion brand.
Coach just finished celebrating its yearlong 75th anniversary and it seems that Gomez will be leading them forward into year 76. The 24-year-old singer will design her own line for Coach as well as star in their ad campaigns, according to Page Six.
In August, the “Hands To Myself” singer revealed that she had been dealing with health concerns related to Lupus and needed to take some time to focus on handling her side effects.
“As many of you know, around a year ago I revealed that I have lupus, an illness that can affect people in different ways,” she told People. “I’ve discovered that anxiety, panic attacks and depression can be side effects of lupus, which can present their own challenges.”
“I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off,” she continued. “Thank you to all my fans for your support.”
Selena recently made a return to the red carpet for the American Music Awards at the end of November. She looked amazing in a classy red dress in her first big public appearance and later won one of the biggest awards of the evening for favorite female pop/rock artist.
“I think it’s safe to say most of you know my life whether I liked it or not. And I had to stop. Because I had everything. And I was absolutely broken inside,” she said while accepting her award. “I kept it all together enough to where I would never let you down, but I kept it too much together to where I let myself down.”
“If you are broken, you do not have to stay broken,” she continued. “That’s one thing you should know about me: I care about people. And this is for you.”
