Alan Thicke Dead At 69
Alan Thicke has died. He was 69 years old.
According to his publicist, the Canadian actor was transported to the hospital Tuesday afternoon after he had a heart attack while playing hockey with his 19-year-old son Carter. He was later pronounced dead at Providence St. Joseph’s Medical Center.
Thicke was best known for his role as Dr. Jason Seaver on the ’80s sitcom “Growing Pains.” He went on to host a successful daytime talk show in Canada.
He recently starred in the Netflix reboot “Fuller House” — and posted about it on Twitter just hours before his death.
