Seahawks Punter Runs Perfect Fake – Ends Up Getting Nearly Decapitated
Seattle Seahawks punter Jon Ryan took the shot of a lifetime Thursday night against the Los Angeles Rams.
Ryan perfectly executed a fake punt, and took off downfield with the ball. Unfortunately he began to bobble the ball and a Rams defender came crashing down to light him up. (SLIDESHOW: This Supermodel Might Be The Sexiest NFL Girlfriend)

That is one of the hardest hits you’ll ever see in the NFL, and it’s proof why punters are not designed to be rushing the ball down field. (SLIDESHOW: 13 Times Lindsey Vonn Proved She’s One Of The Hottest Women Alive)
A running back would have gotten into a position to take a hit, and probably wouldn’t have ever been bobbling the ball. Ryan opened himself wide open to taking that brutal shot. Hopefully he learned a hard lesson that punters everywhere can benefit from.
