Alec Baldwin makes $1,400 mocking Donald Trump.

The actor recently revealed to the New York Times that he gets paid the small sum per skit to impersonate Trump on “Saturday Night Live.”

Baldwin also said he watched “hours of rallies and campaign appearances” to prepare for his role as the president-elect.

Baldwin did say that he fears his portrayal of Trump helped him get elected.

“I do recognize that that is a possibility,” Baldwin told the Times.¬†“But I think that now that he is the president, we have an obligation — as we would if it was him or her — to dial it up as much as we can.”

Trump recently condemned the show as “unwatchable.”

“Just tried watching Saturday Night Live — unwatchable!” Trump tweeted. “Totally biased, not funny and the Baldwin impersonation just can’t get any worse. Sad.” (RELATED:¬†After Saturday Night Live Mocked His Twitter Habits, Donald Trump Is Firing Back)
