David Hookstead | Reporter

Fox Sports pundit and Outkick the Coverage founder Clay Travis took more shots at Oklahoma football coach Bob Stoops Thursday morning.

Stoops recently explained his decision about why he let running back Joe Mixon stay on the team after brutally beating a woman, and claimed it was in part a chance for Mixon to redeem himself. (SLIDESHOW: This Supermodel Might Be The Sexiest NFL Girlfriend)

“This wasn’t about discipline at all. This was about what Bob Stoops could get away with,” Travis said of the decision to keep Mixon on the team. (SLIDESHOW: The UFC’s Newest Octagon Girl Is Barely Dressed In These Jaw-Dropping Photos)

No announcement has yet been made about whether or not Mixon will be entering the NFL draft.
