The 32-year-old rapper — whose real name is Tremaine Neverson — has been charged with one count of assaulting a police officer causing injury and one count of aggravated assault after he started throwing objects at officers when they tried to remove him from the stage at the Joe Louis Arena.

Neverson had allegedly been told by event organizers that his time on stage was up when he became “irate” and belligerent” and started breaking stage equipment.

The officers who were working the event tried to remove him from the stage, which is when he hit a police sergeant in the head with an object.

He was arrested and, as of Thursday morning, remains at the Detroit Detention Center.
