Fox Sports pundit and Outkick the Coverage founder Clay Travis criticized ESPN pundit Brent Musburger Tuesday morning for his praise of Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon.

Musburger commented Mixon, who brutally beat a woman in 2014, and the Sooners game against Auburn Monday night. At one point in the game he called Mixon, “One of the best.” Travis responded on his hit radio show “Outkick the Coverage.” (SLIDESHOW: Johnny Manziel‘s Rumored Girlfriend Barely Wears Anything On Instagram)

“First of all, Musburger said he’s one of the best. That might be the least definition of ‘one of the best’ I’ve ever heard in the history of college sports on television. If Joe Mixon, who broke a girl’s face in four places, is one of the best then I must be like freaking Mother Teresa,” the outspoken pundit told his audience. (SLIDESHOW: Johnny Manziel‘s Sister Loves Showing Off Lots Of Skin)

Mixon rushed for two touchdowns and almost one hundred yards against the Auburn defense during the 35-19 blowout. He has not yet made a decision about whether or not he will enter the NFL draft.
