Angelina Jolie Agrees To Keep Custody Battle With Brad Pitt Quiet
Angelina Jolie has agreed to keep her divorce and custody case with Brad Pitt quiet, but that doesn’t mean she’s backing down.
Pitt went to court in early December in an attempt to get all legal documents and proceedings related to their case sealed after Jolie made a private agreement public, TMZ reported. Brad reportedly thinks Angelina released the documents to make him look bad, but he made the move to seal any documents going forward for the sake of their six children.
Angelina has now filed legal documents agreeing to keep further case proceedings private, but still insists Brad is the bad guy here, TMZ reported Wednesday.
Although she’s agreed, the documents claim Pitt wants them sealed because he’s “terrified that the public will learn the truth,” and wants to “deflect from [his] own role in the media storm which has engulfed the parties’ children.”
“There is little doubt that [Brad] would prefer to keep the entire case private,” the documents state, “particularly given the detailed investigations by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Dept. of Children and Family Services into allegation of abuse.”
Both the FBI and DCFS have closed their investigations and determined “no action was warranted,” TMZ reports.
So, we may not be hearing much about Brad and Angelina’s battle any longer, but it’s certainly going to get ugly.
