Hugh Laurie threw major shade at Republicans and Donald Trump during the Golden Globe Awards Sunday night.

The actor was accepting the award for Best Supporting Actor in a TV Series, Limited Series or TV Movie– which he won for his role in “The Night Manager” — when he joked that he might be at the “last ever Golden Globes.”

“Thank you first to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for this amazing honor,” Laurie said. “I suppose it’s made more amazing by the fact that I’ll be able to say I won this at the last ever Golden Globes”

“I don’t mean to be gloomy, it just has the words, ‘Hollywood, Foreign and Press’ in the title,” he said. The actor added: “I also think that to some Republicans even the word ‘Association’ is slightly sketchy.”

Laurie then took a shot at Trump by accepting his award “on behalf of psychopathic billionaires everywhere.”
