Clay Travis: Nick Saban Is Bad For The SEC

Fox Sports pundit and Outkick the Coverage founder Clay Travis believes Alabama football coach Nick Saban may be damaging the SEC.

“I think there’s a strong argument to be made now, and I’ve been making it, that Nick Saban is not good for the SEC. He’s good for Bama but I think he can be bad for the SEC and good for Bama, which is a rarity. Here’s what I mean by that: Nick Saban has so come to dominate the SEC that he has run off all these other coaches who are good, not great because there’s a belief they should be able to win more than they are because of what Nick Saban is doing,” Travis told his audience Monday morning. (SLIDESHOW: Johnny Manziel‘s Rumored Girlfriend Barely Wears Anything On Instagram)

Alabama is currently undefeated, and will face off tonight against Clemson in the national title game. A win could cement Nick Saban as arguably the greatest college football coach ever.
