Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney and Fox Sports pundit Colin Cowherd traded barbs following the Tigers victory in the national championship game.

“The guy that called us a fraud, ask Alabama if we’re a fraud. Was his name Colin Cowherd? Ask him. I don’t know him. Never met him. Ask him, Alabama, if we’re a fraud. Ask Ohio State if we’re a fraud. Ask Oklahoma if we’re a fraud. The only fraud is that guy because he didn’t do his homework. I hope you all print that,” Swinney told the media after beating Alabama. (SLIDESHOW: Johnny Manziel‘s Rumored Girlfriend Barely Wears Anything On Instagram)

Cowherd hit back and defended his criticism of Clemson earlier in the year. (SLIDESHOW: 12 TIMES SPORTS PUNDIT KRISTINE LEAHY LOOKED ABSOLUTELY STUNNING)

“I didn’t buy them. I watched them lose almost seven times. I was watching when North Carolina State could have beat them at Clemson. I didn’t see the Troy game. I don’t think that was on my local carrier. I’m not sure if Dabo saw much of it. I don’t know if it was broadcast in Clemson. But what they did last night was remarkable, great for the sport, they had great dignity and I can take a punch,” Cowherd responded Tuesday on his FS1 show “The Herd.” (SLIDESHOW: 13 Times Lindsey Vonn Proved She’s One Of The Hottest Women Alive)
