Khloe Kardashian: Just Because We’re Celebrities Doesn’t Mean We Deserve To Be Robbed
Khloe Kardashian said just because her family members are famous doesn’t mean they deserved to be robbed.
Kardashian opened up about the arrests in the Paris robbery that left her sister Kim Kardashian bound and gagged last October in an interview on NBC’s “Today” show. She said the family is relieved to hear of the arrest of 17 suspects in the heist. As of Thursday, 10 men remain in custody for their connection to the robbery, where $11 million worth of jewelry was stolen. “It was a relief when I heard [about the arrests] that but we don’t know any other information,” Kardashian told the reporter. “It’s traumatizing and terrifying but genuinely that’s when you get down on your knees and you pray and you thank the Lord that nothing worse happened.’
The reporter, Natalie Morales, asked if she thought there were consequences when they live their lives in the public eye so much.
“No, I don’t believe that because people show their life anywhere that anyone deserves or has consequences in getting robbed,” she added.
She also laughed off the recent rumors that her sister’s marriage to Kanye West is in trouble.
“Oh I don’t think so, there’s [always] rumors … I mean I’ve been pregnant for eight years now,” Kardashian joked. “I’m pregnant this time, of course, I’m pregnant with triplets.”
