Kim Kardashian Won’t Have To Appear In Court For Paris Robbery Case
Kim Kardashian will not have to return to Paris to testify against the suspects who have been arrested in relation to the October armed robbery of the reality television star.
As a crime victim under French law, Kardashian isn’t required to appear in court for her case as the judge conducts interviews outside of the courtroom. In some cases, judges will even travel outside of the country to interview certain crime victims and in Kim’s case, that will likely happen, TMZ reports.
The alleged criminals in Kardashian’s nearly $10 million heist won’t have the right to cross-examine her either, according to the laws of France. The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star will be interviewed in private without the suspects or their lawyers present, TMZ reports.
Meanwhile, Kim is back to her jet-setting lifestyle now that 17 suspects have been arrested in connection with her life-threatening scare in Paris. (RELATED: Kim Kardashian’s Chauffeur Arrested For ‘Inside Job’ In Paris Armed Robbery)
TMZ spotted Kardashian at LAX on Wednesday with a handful of security guards reportedly headed to Dubai. She’s apparently making up for a promotional event she missed that was scheduled 11 days after the Paris incident.
