Three Suspects Charged In Kim Kardashian Robbery
French authorities have charged three suspects in the Paris robbery of Kim Kardashian.
On Thursday, three suspects — only identified by their age and first name: 63-year-old Yunice A., 44-year-old Florus H., and 64-year-old Marceau Band — were charged with their involvement in the armed robbery of the 36-year-old reality TV star in her Paris apartment in October of last year, according to Page Six. Yunice A. faces preliminary charges of armed robbery, kidnapping and criminal association. Florus H., was charged with complicity charges in the alleged robbery and kidnapping as well as faces charges for criminal association. Marceau B, also faces preliminary charges of criminal association along with the handling of stolen goods.
A source close to the investigation said that the arrest came about as the suspects were “beginning to admit their involvement” in the million-dollar heist that left the reality star pleading for her life, a prosecutor told the Daily Mail. On Monday, authorities announced the arrest of 17 people involved in the heist. DNA from the restraints used on Kardashian helped lead to the arrests, according to another Page Six report.
At this time six other suspects remain in custody for their possible connection to the heist on October 3, 2016. The robbers used masks in breaking into Kardashian’s apartment at gunpoint, and where they left the reality star bound and gagged in the bathroom of her apartment before taking off with $11 million worth of jewelry — which included her $4.5 million ring given to her by her husband Kanye West.
