James Franco On President Trump: I’ve ‘Spiraled Into A Depression’
James Franco said that since President Trump won the election, he has been “questioning everything” and has “spiraled into a depression.”
On Monday, the 38-year-old actor and staunch supporter of Hillary Clinton, told The Daily Beast that he has not been handling the loss of his candidate well and said it’s been a “rough few months,” following Trump’s inauguration as the 45th president of the United States. “I mean, I’ve been reacting really badly,” Franco responded. “I’ve spiraled into a depression and I’ve been questioning everything that I am, and how I’ve been doing things. It’s been a rough few months.”
Franco recently took part in the anti-Trump “Women’s March” in Los Angeles on Saturday that was part of organized events across the country the day after Trump was sworn-in.

The actor made news during the general election when he took part in ad campaign that encouraged voters to pick Clinton in the 2016 election titled “the most interesting woman in the world.” The video was created by groups who backed the former secretary of state.
