Johnny Manziel Explains His Decision To Delete His Twitter Account

Johnny Manziel sounds like he is off of Twitter for at least the near future.

Manziel deleted his account after tweeting at President Trump telling him to get off of Twitter and focus on other stuff. Now he has given an explanation for his actions. (SLIDESHOW: Johnny Manziel‘s Rumored Girlfriend Barely Wears Anything On Instagram)

“Twitter has been nothing but a distraction for me. I’ve said all I can say. Now I need to shut the hell up and work on bettering myself and my situation,” the former Cleveland Browns quarterback told TMZ Sports. (SLIDESHOW: Johnny Manziel‘s Sister Loves Showing Off Lots Of Skin)

Manziel skipped the entire NFL season, and spent time partying and staying in the spotlight.

However, he recently appears to have made serious progress towards getting back on track.
