Drew Carey’s Son Added Fuel To The Fire During Inauguration Protest
Drew Carey’s 11-year-old son Connor Carey helped start a fire during an inauguration protest over the weekend and his parents aren’t happy about it.
In a Fox News video, protesters were seen rallying outside of the Deploraball at the National Press Club where the young man was seen throwing protest signs onto a fire. The young boy was first identified as Carey’s son by TMZ on Thursday.
Immediately following the event, the boy identified himself as Connor to Fox News and told them he “kind of started this fire” because “I felt like it and because I’m just saying ‘screw our president.”
Drew Carey was visiting Washington, D.C. in order to MC the Veterans Inaugural Ball: Salute to Heroes hosted by The American Legion on Friday. The “Price is Right” host was reportedly having dinner with his son down the street from the protest before Connor went over to join the protesters.
Carey was unaware of his son’s participation and comments to Fox News that night, but after seeing the video he and his wife were upset with his actions, TMZ reports. The source claimed that after speaking with his parents Connor “regretted his choice of words.”
