Golf Superstar Hits Back At Her Critics

David Hookstead | Reporter

Golf sensation Paige Spiranac took a shot at her critics late Monday night.

Spiranac posted a video of her hitting a golf ball and the caption appears to be directed at those who don’t believe she is a legit golf prospect. At one point she even asks if people now take her seriously. (SLIDESHOW: 67 Times Abigail Ratchford Was Almost Naked)

She wrote the following:

Confession time…I would never post swing videos from the side because I was always so insecure about my take away haha. I’ve always struggled with taking it very far inside then crossing at the top which then messed up my down swing. With a lot of hard work these past couple of months with my coach @ty_hall1, we have made great progress with my swing. This past year was my first year as a pro. I learned so much and although I had a successful year on the mini tours and state opens, I know I’ve needed to make these changes if I want to compete at a higher level. I know it’s not where it needs to be but I’m working hard to get it where I want. Thanks for following my progress and being a positive light in my life! I love sharing the ups and downs because we all know life and golf is hard haha! Sorry for the long caption and I know you probably stopped reading after the first sentence #wearingarealgolfoutfit #doyoutakemeseriousnow

Spiranac’s golf game is coming around nicely, but she’s been a star on Instagram for years before being a professional golfer. No matter what her critics say about her golf game there’s little doubt her social media presence is beyond elite. (SLIDESHOW: 42 Times Arianny Celeste Went Topless On Instagram)
