Sarah Silverman vowed to keep protesting against President Donald Trump following the confirmation of Betsy DeVos as secretary of education Tuesday.

“I’m not thrilled,” Silverman said. “What do you think my take is? I think education should be free for everybody. Other first world countries do that.” (RELATED: Sarah Silverman To Bernie Or Bust: ‘You’re Being RIDICULOUS’)

“All we can do is use our vote and protest and see where we put our money,” she added. “As we’re not seen as citizens, we are seen as consumers. So, one thing you can do, is for instance, I took money out of my bank and I brought it to a credit union.”

“Because credit unions are not for profit,” she continued. “They are co-operatives. They do everything a bank does. And banks, they are for profit, and they fund things like big oil and GMO farming and stuff that I don’t believe in.”

The comedian also shared on Twitter that she thought DeVos’s confirmation means America’s “children will pay.”

“Another seat bought & paid for. And the @trumpregrets surge & America’s children will pay. Where does the buck stop w this shitty madness,” Silverman tweeted.
