Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model Kelly Rohrbach Can Play Some Damn Golf
Not only is Kelly Rohrbach both a model and an actress, but the beautiful blonde is pretty damn good at golf.
The 27-year-old talent is playing in the 2017 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am this week, and it’s come to our attention that she’s got some serious skills.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model grew up playing golf competitively for both her high school team and individually in AJGA events, according to golf.com. As a senior at Greenwich Academy in Connecticut, Rohrbach led her team to a conference championship and earned medalist honors.
The gorgeous golfer even played for the Georgetown University women’s team before giving up the game competitively as a sophomore so she could focus on acting. (PHOTOS: Kelly Rohrbach Looks Beyond Breathtaking In Her Latest Bikini Photo)
Rohrbach is paired with pro golfer Gary Woodland this week for the celebrity golf tournament at the famous Pebble Beach course in California. The pair were in 93rd place at the end of Thursday’s round.
“I haven’t played tournament golf in a long time and this is bringing back some memories. Not all of them good,” Rohrbach admitted. But the “Baywatch” star is managing to stay positive and seems to be enjoying the experience.
“I’ve never played in conditions like this in my life! I’m a blue-sky, 85-degree, nine-holes-in-a-cart, lunch-on-the-terrace kind of girl. But it was fun in a weird way,” she said after Thursday’s round.
“I didn’t play as well I would have liked, but tomorrow I’m gonna find it.”
Good luck out there, Kelly. We’re rooting for you.
