Singer’s Music Sales Take Off After Wearing A Trump Dress To The Grammys
Joy Villa shocked Hollywood on the red carpet of the Grammy Awards when she revealed she was wearing a President Trump-inspired dress.
The 25-year-old singer arrived wearing a flowing, white gown, but promptly removed it to reveal a red, white and blue dress with the words “Make America Great Again,” written down the front and “TRUMP” written on the back hem.
Villa’s music sales went through the roof last night after she donned the Trump-inspired ensemble for all of Hollywood to see.
Her latest EP, “I Make the Static,” saw a tremendous increase in sales in the hours after Villa made her political statement. Villa jumped to the top of Amazon’s best-selling digital albums and now also holds the number one spot for album sales on iTunes.

“Sometimes you just gotta be free to express yourself…thank you to all of my supporters and fellow believers,” Villa wrote in an Instagram post. “Life is about living free and loving it. Be your beautiful selves tonight.”
“Go big, or go home. You can either stand for what you believe, or fall for what you don’t,” Villa said in another post. “Above all make a choice for tolerance and love. Agree to disagree. See the person over the politics, carry yourself with dignity, always. Life is made to be lived, so go boldly and give no effs!”
