Rosie O’Donnell said, aside from changing her profile picture on Twitter, she had not received a call from “Saturday Night Live” to play Trump adviser Steve Bannon on the show.

On Thursday, TMZ caught up with the 54-year-old actress leaving a restaurant in West Hollywood, California and asked her if she would be playing President Donald Trump’s chief strategist anytime soon. Earlier this month, the actress volunteered her name to play the role and later photoshopped a picture of her face on Bannon’s head and posted it on Twitter. (RELATED: Rosie O’Donnell Calls For Trump To Be Arrested)

O’Donnell at first just shook her head and then said, “That’s it.” (RELATED: Rosie O’Donnell Shifts From Calling Trump An ‘Orange Anus’ To Serious Prayer)

“That was the whole impression, the photoshop,” she added. “That was it, start to finish …”

When the reporter asked her why, she responded, “Because I am not in the cast there’s that.”

Her tweet came as a response to a follower who asked if she would be interested in taking on the role following a report in Politico that alleged the president was unhappy about Melissa McCarthy playing press secretary Sean Spicer on the show.

“@calvininsf – i am here to serve–alec has trump–melissa has spice–i would need a few days to prepare– so if called – i will be ready,” Rosie tweeted.

“available – if called i will serve !!!” she added.
