Nelson’s publicist Elaine Schock said the “On The Road Again” singer will return to the stage Thursday night at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, Page Six reports.

83-year-old Nelson was forced to postpone three shows in California, one in New Mexico and another in Arizona last week after falling ill with a bad cold. At the time, Schock said that he hoped to be back in performing shape by the San Antonio show and it seems his recovery is right on schedule.

Nelson seems to have no plans of slowing down as he approaches his mid-eighties.

The country icon won a Grammy last Sunday for best traditional pop vocal album for “Summertime: Willie Nelson Sings Gershwin.” He also recently announced that he plans to release a new album this spring called “God’s Problem Child.”

It’s good to see that Willie is back in good health and on the road once again.
