Kris Jenner finally opened up about Kim Kardashian’s robbery last fall and said “it was devastating.”

On Monday, in an interview on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” Jenner talked about when her daughter was robbed at gunpoint in her apartment in Paris last year where thieves left her bound and gagged and took off with $11 million worth of jewelry. She teased a clip from her reality show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” that deals with the incident. (RELATED: All The Details Surrounding Kim Kardashian’s Armed Robbery — Including Why She Thought She Would Be Raped)

“It was devastating,” Jenner told the host. “So, when we started filming again, and started getting up and running obviously Kim was around because we all practically live together on the same street. And we started filming and what was coming out of that was very therapeutic for her I think to just explain to us.” (RELATED: Kim Kardashian Took 6,000 Selfies While On Vacation For Four Days)

“Now we just started seeing some of the stuff that had come out of those days and it’s…Nobody can even get through the first five minutes without being hysterical,” she added. “I get choked up just thinking about it and talking about it. It’s changed the way we live our lives and just the way that we take care of our kids and my grandchildren.”

“I was watching it and I was balling when I saw it,” she continued. “I just saw some of it, and I couldn’t even watch the whole thing. I mean, it was so upsetting. It was such an upsetting time when something so awful happened to somebody that you love so much.”
